Investment Analyst Intern

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and promising startups that align with our investment thesis. You will also seek and review potential investment opportunities using industry reports, databases, and other resources. Additionally, you will develop and implement effective search strategies to identify companies that meet our investment objectives. Your tasks will include supporting the investment team with due diligence, including researching the target company's financials, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying potential risks and opportunities. You will also assist in tracking the performance of existing portfolio companies and prepare reports and presentations for reviews.

Requirements:

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's program in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent
* Strong analytical and research skills in market research and business modeling (e.g., market sizing, analyzing competitive landscapes, or financial modeling)
* Proactive attitude, attention to details, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team player
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
* Highly motivated, results-oriented, and the drive to improve processes
* Fluent in English (verbally and in writing)

Internship: 3-6 months, full-time

For this position, you must be on site in Hamburg.
