Job Title: Fullstack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Developer to join our team at Verisk. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our client-facing web application, GRiD, which is built using React and Laravel.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in PHP, React, and Laravel. You will be working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality software solutions and drive technical and user-focused improvements to our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features and functionality for our web application
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Peer review other developers' work and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
  • Proven track record in a software development role
  • Good knowledge of PHP, React, and Laravel
  • Experience with databases, including relational databases and ORMs
  • Excellent German language skills
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of Linux Server and AWS services
  • DevOps skills, including automatic deployment
