About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist for Construction Services to join our team at Hornbach. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for construction and subcontracting services, as well as maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, create tender documents, assess bids, and negotiate contracts with our partners.
• Develop and maintain a stable, pan-European network of suppliers through close collaboration with existing and new partners.
• Monitor current trends in procurement and initiate projects to introduce innovations into our procurement processes.

Requirements:

• As an experienced construction buyer, you will have a high level of competence in negotiations and contract closures, both in German and English.
• Your excellent communication skills will enable you to maintain respectful communication with technical and specialist partners across various hierarchical levels.
• You will be up-to-date with the latest developments in construction procurement and eager to apply this knowledge in practice.
• Occasional travel to our construction sites in Germany and abroad is required.
