Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our global product team, you will be responsible for designing, realizing, and maintaining a cost and maintenance efficient software architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Responsible for the design, realization, and maintenance of a cost and maintenance efficient software architecture.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the global product team to ensure that our software solutions align with our business goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact with development teams and stakeholders to ensure our solutions deliver a great user experience, are maintainable, and meet the highest security standards.
- Technical Leadership: Internalize the underlying business strategy across products to shape our technology landscape and discover emerging trends and technologies that can improve our overall architecture.
- Mentorship: Mentoring and coaching other software architects and developers to improve quality of our code, architecture, and software development practices.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on API, cloud, security, and scalable architecture.
- Skills: Ability to design both, cloud-based APIs and microservices, as well as applications running on distributed IoT devices. Deep understanding of API design and development, RESTful architecture, and related technologies such as Swagger or OpenAPI.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience in the usage of message brokers, their application, and relevant protocols and technologies, like RabbitMQ. Track record of designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based systems using AWS.
- Security: Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and key management.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
