Lead Data Science Consultant

As a Lead Data Science Consultant (w/m/d), you will become an integral part of a vibrant team of data specialists dedicated to crafting innovative, data-driven solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with seasoned data scientists and engage in a variety of projects and challenges.
Your Responsibilities
- You will prepare intricate datasets, model, analyze, and visualize them. Additionally, you will develop mathematical and machine learning models in both batch and real-time contexts to devise solutions for various problems and requirements. This includes evaluating AI use cases, researching suitable methodologies, and applying them to real-world data.
- You will manage national and international projects at the intersection of business and IT.
- In collaborative, interdisciplinary, and agile projects, you will contribute your expertise and insights.
- You will design and develop solutions on modern platforms and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- With a diverse and challenging workday, along with various training opportunities for methodology, subject matter expertise, and technical skills, you can expect a steep learning curve.
- Moreover, you will bring your interests and creative ideas into initiatives and collaborate with partners to shape current market trends.
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, (Business) Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
- You have initial professional experience, preferably in consulting or IT.
- You possess methodological knowledge in statistics, machine learning, and IT infrastructures, along with initial experience in applying machine learning models.
- You have strong proficiency in Python, ideally complemented by experience in database management such as SQL/PostgreSQL.
- You are interested in collaborative work within agile project teams.
- You enjoy tackling complex challenges and working with data.
- You are willing to travel and are flexible.
- You have language skills in German at C1 level and English at B2 level.
- Ideally, you also have basic knowledge in API development, a solid understanding of version control via Git, and foundational knowledge in LaTeX.
