Senior Legal Counsel for International Business

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Roborock. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing daily legal support to our online and offline operations in the EU, with a focus on Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily legal advice on all business matters in the EU, with a focus on Germany, including contract review, inquiries, consumer disputes, and legal research for related compliance requirements.
  • Draft and review a wide variety of contracts, business initiatives, and projects, and provide risk analysis and feasible risk mitigation plans.
  • Develop and update various types of contract templates, initiate compliance projects, and identify, prevent, and respond to legal and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the region, particularly cross-border e-commerce related laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, to provide timely and accurate legal advice and support.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of foreign-related or German legal work experience, with a strong understanding of the laws and regulations of the region in charge.
  • Proficient English speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in Chinese a plus.
  • Strong logical thinking and communication skills, with a strong learning ability, initiative, responsibility, and a good team player.
