Lead Cyber Security Consultant - Strategy, Governance, Risk & Compliance (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
If cyber security is your area of expertise, become part of KPMG, the clear choice for cyber security, and contribute in the following ways:

  • Advise our clients on establishing guidelines for preventive measures against cyber threats.
  • Identify the IT and compliance requirements of our clients in the context of cyber security and provide counsel on optimizing the maturity of related processes and policies.
  • Develop strategies and solutions by assessing the unique challenges faced by clients in conjunction with your own expertise.
  • Take on the role of (partial) project lead, facilitate client meetings, and represent the outcomes of your work.
  • Consult on vulnerability management as part of your responsibilities.
  • Plan and conduct IT security assessments.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of client relationships and develop cyber security consulting solutions at KPMG.
  • Engage in advisory services with a focus on organizational IT security topics and processes.
  • Additionally, assist in acquisition activities or the preparation of proposals as a key contact for organizational cyber security matters.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Cyber Security Consultant (m/f/d) at KPMG, you should possess a degree in computer science, natural sciences, or a related field.
  • You should have substantial knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
    • BSI IT Basic Protection
    • ISO 27001 and Information Security Management
    • Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS) and IT Security Act
    • IT Risk Management
  • You work with a results-oriented approach and demonstrate high motivation and enthusiasm.
  • You possess project management skills and have a strong understanding of organizational structures and processes.
  • Experience with processes in the context of the "Three Lines of Defense" is also part of your background.
  • You bring your expertise through already obtained certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, ISO) or have the motivation to acquire them.
  • Proficiency in German at C1 level is required.
  • Your passion for computer science or IT security, along with your willingness to travel and flexibility, completes your qualifications.
