Firefighter (Aircraft Rescue)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Firefighter, you will be responsible for providing emergency response services to multiple sites within the Army installation, including aircraft rescue and firefighting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency situations, including aircraft crashes and fires
  • Operate firefighting equipment, including aerial ladders and rescue vehicles
  • Perform rescue operations, including extricating people from aircraft and other vehicles
  • Participate in regular training exercises to maintain and improve skills
  • Work collaboratively with other emergency responders, including police and medical personnel

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of Firefighter I and II certification courses
  • Hazmat Awareness Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and personnel
