About the Role

Siemens Mobility GmbH is a leading supplier in the field of mobility, with a rich history of innovation and a commitment to making transportation faster, safer, and more comfortable. As a Vehicle Validator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our rail vehicles meet the highest quality standards and are ready for service on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and type tests on locomotives and passenger coaches, ensuring compliance with international standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement test procedures based on TSI and international standards, working closely with the product team and other departments.
  • Collaborate with the homologation team to ensure that our rail vehicles meet the necessary regulatory requirements.
  • Work on-site at our test centers in Munich, Wegberg-Wildenrath, and Velim, as well as on international projects, including in India.
Requirements
  • Technical degree or professional education with several years of experience in vehicle validation or a related field.
  • Experience in the rail industry, with knowledge of measurement and control technology, bus systems, and IT.
  • Familiarity with international and national standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
