Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Safety Manager to join our team at the REWE Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of safety professionals and coordinate their activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that safety protocols are integrated into business operations.
• Communicate with external agencies such as government bodies and insurance companies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure they adhere to safety standards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications and experience in workplace safety and health.
• Proven track record of leading safety teams and implementing effective safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform safety decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex safety issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
