At GXO Logistics, Inc., we are committed to excellence in Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH). We are seeking a highly skilled QESH Officer to join our team in Dormagen, Germany.
As a QESH Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining QESH management systems and performance within our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring our operations are safe, compliant, and meet the required certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining QESH policies and procedures
- Conducting audits and spot checks to ensure compliance
- Assisting operational personnel with incident investigation and providing guidance on legal frameworks
- Undertaking audits of contract depots and staff on site
- Supporting local managers with QESH regulators and accompanying them on inspections and audits
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of risk management systems, quality assurance, and incident investigation methods
- Auditing experience
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding QESH topics
- Logistics sector background is a plus
- Fluent proficiency in German and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
