Join Our Team as a Student Researcher in Audio Signal Processing

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student researcher to join our team at Fraunhofer-Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen IIS. As a student research assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in audio signal processing for automotive applications.

Our team is responsible for developing innovative technologies that enhance the user experience in vehicles. We are looking for a talented individual who can contribute to our research efforts and help us push the boundaries of audio signal processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our researchers to develop and implement new algorithms for audio signal processing
  • Contribute to data acquisition and measurements to assess the performance of our algorithms
  • Draft reports documenting the results of our research
  • Implement real-time programs to demonstrate applications to users
  • Support our software team in their daily work and long-term projects
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a technical or scientific degree program
  • Strong skills in signal processing, including digital filters, linear time-invariant systems, and Fourier transform
  • Programming skills in Python, with experience in Numpy and Scipy
  • Self-organized, communicative, and open to learning new things
  • Fluent in English
