About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at Sparkasse Bamberg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving our sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our operations are environmentally friendly and socially responsible.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce our environmental impact and improve our social responsibility
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to reduce waste and emissions
• Monitor and report on our sustainability performance, including energy consumption, waste management, and supply chain sustainability
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance our sustainability goals
• Provide training and education to employees on sustainability best practices and policies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainability and apply this knowledge to our operations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability or a related field
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
