PVC Compounds Application Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Product Development Specialist for our business partner in Eilenburg. As a key member of our team, you will work on the new and further development of PVC formulations, support customers from the initial consultation to the launch of new products, and ensure that all compounds meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing development projects for the redesign and further development of PVC compounds
  • Maintenance and optimization of existing formulations and their application testing
  • Providing technical advice to customers regarding the possible applications of products, including the introduction of new products
  • Supporting customers with samples, complaints, and similar concerns
  • Defining quality standards, also as part of the development of new products
  • Preparation of technological documentation
  • Reducing costs by selecting suitable raw materials for formulations
  • Advising the purchasing department on the selection and procurement of raw materials
  • Support with the introduction of new test procedures and test methods as well as the practical implementation of work in the technical center and test laboratory
  • Supporting the introduction of new formulations on large-scale plants
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the technical application of PVC compounds, particularly in the field of extrusion
  • Initial experience in formulation and application technology
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and solution-oriented way of working
  • Team player, motivated, and reliable
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
