About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thin Film Process Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and execution of SiC thin film process development and project execution related work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Lead the development of the manufacturing process flow of SiC power components related to thin film process modules, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify and solve quality problems in a timely manner, ensuring smooth manufacturing during ramp-up, pre-production, and production phases.
  • Engineering Process Management: Monitor and follow up on the status of engineering processes, taking corrective actions to resolve issues and analyze process data.
  • Product Reliability: Evaluate product reliability requirements and testing methods, ensuring accountability for product reliability in your area of process expertise.
  • Process Improvement: Improve product yield and tackle major challenges within your scope of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in semiconductor physics, microelectronics, materials, chemistry, or a similar discipline within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience working on semiconductor thin film introduction or development, with fab experience in SiC and silicon product introduction or production preferred.
  • Skills: Familiarity with SiC process flow, manufacturing process, and characterization techniques, as well as semiconductor material processing, measurement methods, and techniques for materials and process results evaluation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with German and/or Chinese a plus.
  • International Experience: Open to international business trips or delegations.
