Job Title: Field Project Coordinator - Technical Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Project Coordinator - Technical Sales to join our team at Electronic Theatre Controls. As a Field Project Coordinator - Technical Sales, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support to our customers in the DACH, Eastern Europe, and CIS regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technically knowledgeable and friendly representation of ETC to customers and partners.
  • Assist with technical sales for the region to get ETC specified.
  • Distribute information and knowledge to distributors, dealers, consultants, engineers, and end-users.
  • On the road visiting theatres and dealers and rental houses doing demonstrations.
  • Provide a technical sales and support function for the Regional (Sales) Manager.
  • Support ETC dealers within the territory.
  • Coordinate sales and follow up on sales leads.
  • Demonstrate equipment to distributors, dealers, consultants, theatre planners, engineers, and end-users.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Prepare quotations and riser diagrams based on customer needs.
  • Prepare submittal packages.
  • Interpret and develop specifications of ETC products.
  • Train dealers and/or distributors and end users in the use of ETC products.
  • Assist GmbH in dealing with the client, scheduling visits, training and commissioning.
  • Act as a liaison to ETC in general.
  • Retrieve information for projects.
  • Notify the Sales department of jobs happening in other regions.
  • Provide feedback of product problems and dissatisfaction.
  • Assist demo team in ordering and maintaining demo gear for the region.
  • Maintain good business relationships and accounts for the sales managers.
  • Provide telephone and e-mail support.
  • Answer product pricing and product application questions.
  • Answer specific job quote requests.
  • Enter opportunities in SAP.
  • Complete additional tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 3-5 years previous job-related experience.
  • Technical background from the theatrical lighting industry.
  • Console operator experience advantageous.
  • Extensive theatrical lighting experience.
  • Knowledge of ETC products.
  • Computer networking & programming experience.
  • Familiarity with competitors' products.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of other software such as SAP, CRM, Acrobat, PhotoShop.
  • Understanding of physics, electronics and circuitry.
  • AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Presentation experience and skills.
  • Theatrical lighting systems design experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
