Schulz & Cie. Consulting GmbH is seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This position is pivotal in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist management in establishing and modifying information security policies while providing expert advice on security matters.
- Develop and implement information security protocols and related regulations as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to security policies through regular compliance checks and oversight of IT service providers.
- Contribute to the formulation and enhancement of the emergency response plan concerning IT-related incidents.
- Initiate and oversee security measures to protect information assets.
- Engage in IT-related projects to ensure security considerations are integrated.
- Act as the primary contact for information security inquiries within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
- Facilitate awareness and training programs focused on information security.
- Regularly update management on the status of information security, with quarterly reports and additional updates as needed.
This role is particularly relevant for professionals with experience in:
- Financial institutions
- Banking
- FinTech companies
- Securities firms
- A minimum of several years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in an auditing firm or within a financial institution regulated by BaFin.
