Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of the company's construction and real estate projects to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
- Review real estate-related processes such as facility management, energy management, and lease management to evaluate their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate risks associated with construction, occupational health and safety (OHS), and real estate activities, check and analyze the relevant internal control system, and develop appropriate control mechanisms to mitigate risks.
- Review construction contracts, lease agreements, building permits, and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with company policies and protect the company's interests.
- Independently conduct building inspections to identify OHS, construction, or functional-related risks for the operation of the properties and assess the risk.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in the construction and real estate sector through process and procedure analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and construction to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to construction and real estate issues.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in the construction and real estate industry, preferably in auditing, construction, real estate, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the construction and real estate sector.
- Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex issues clearly and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
