(Senior) Consultant (w/m/d) Trade & Customs - ESG

Collaborate with your team in the Indirect Tax Services sector to provide expert advice to our clients on all matters related to national and international sales tax law, as well as customs, foreign trade, export control, and excise tax law.

Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to strategically support the ESG (Indirect Tax Services) area with your expertise, here’s how you can contribute:

  • Advise and assist national and international clients on all aspects of Environmental Taxes (energy and electricity tax, plastic tax, CBAM).
  • Provide comprehensive consulting on the implementation of ESG Compliance Management Systems.
  • Prepare relief applications and tax declarations.
  • Support our clients in developing ESG reporting frameworks.
Your Profile
  • As a (Senior) Consultant (w/m/d) Trade & Customs - ESG, you will have a successfully completed degree in public finance from the Federal Customs Administration or in economics or law, focusing on European Economic Law, International Law and Business, or Tax Law.
  • You possess substantial professional experience in relevant areas within customs administration, industry, and/or consulting firms.
  • Fundamental knowledge of excise tax law, particularly in energy and electricity tax, is also part of your skill set.
  • You are proficient in using standard MS Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Your strong team orientation and willingness to travel complete your qualifications.
