We are seeking a highly experienced tax professional to join our multidisciplinary team of tax experts at PIMCO Prime Real Estate GmbH. As a senior tax manager, you will play a key role in advising our clients across the real estate sector on complex international tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Ownership of all transactions related tax matters in connection with real estate transactions worldwide
- Advising on transactions against the backdrop of the increasingly complex international tax environment, including structuring, coordination, and execution of real estate acquisitions and disinvestments
- Negotiating tax-related clauses in SPAs, JVAs, and other agreements
- Responsibility for post-deal integration, restructurings, and compliance topics during the holding phase
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in corporate and international tax law with a focus on international real estate transactions
- German tax adviser or fully qualified lawyer with a focus on taxes
- Strong tax technical skills, including tax research and writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues in a coherent and commercial way to clients and other stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and client expectations
- Ability to prioritize across projects and make strong decisions in often-uncertain scenarios
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the confidence to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Very good command of English and German
- Understanding of IRR modelling
- Insurance knowledge, CFC tax, and/or fund structuring experience is a plus
