Metal Valorisation and Spent Catalyst Professional

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Valorisation and Spent Catalyst Manager to join our team at Evonik. As a key member of our EMEA team, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers, expanding existing relationships, and optimizing catalyst and spent catalyst sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Valorise metal-containing catalysts and sell spent catalysts
- Negotiate supply contracts and long-term agreements
- Manage purchase and sale prices
- Optimize catalyst and spent catalyst sales
- Attend trade fairs and conferences
- Manage notification procedures for metal-containing spent catalyst from customers
- Coordinate waste transportation across the EU with external partners and internal departments
- Conduct internal training sessions
- Develop new waste transportation concepts within and outside the EU
Requirements
- Degree in environmental management, chemistry, business, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in catalyst trading and/or spent catalyst management
- Business fluency in French, English, and German
- Strong negotiation and excellent communication skills
- Intercultural competence
- Analytical thinking and a passion for innovation
- Willingness to travel for trade fairs and customer visits
