At Aeromobility Innovations, we are at the forefront of developing electric aerial vehicles (electric vertical takeoff and landing systems - eVTOLs). Our commitment is to revolutionize urban air transportation by integrating electric aerial vehicles into the existing transit frameworks of major cities worldwide. Since our inception, we have successfully executed the inaugural crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have conducted numerous public and private test flights globally.
Position Overview
Your role in this mission:
As a vital member of our Aerospace Testing Team, you will provide specialized technical and operational knowledge in Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) for both Ground and Flight evaluations of manned and unmanned configurations. Testing will primarily occur locally, but may occasionally require travel to remote testing sites.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and EPS testing teams to facilitate our flight testing procedures, ensuring that all necessary preparations are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will oversee activities related to the aircraft Digital Mock-Up (DMU). As a Senior Aerospace Testing Specialist, you will mentor junior engineers and provide opportunities for technical development. Aeromobility Innovations boasts a well-established Aerospace Testing Organization as part of our EASA Part21J Design Organization Approval (DOA).
You will engage in the planning, oversight, and enhancement of Ground and Flight Test operations for electric aircraft development and certification, focusing on your area of expertise (EPS) for the overall aircraft functionality. You will assist in aircraft preparation, inspection, and maintenance before and after tests. You will manage the mechanical integration of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems into the aircraft and coordinate with related systems. You will participate in the evaluation and documentation of tests, including troubleshooting and the development of standardized analysis and reporting methodologies. You will contribute to engineering projects that necessitate technological advancements and related development efforts.Required Qualifications
Assess your professional qualifications:
Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable technical discipline. Over 15 years of experience as an Engineer engaged in aerospace development and certification processes. Proficiency in electric propulsion systems. Experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating propulsion systems testing. Familiarity with Siemens NX or other CAD design and analysis tools. Proficient in the English language at a professional level.Preferred Qualifications:
Background or experience in rotorcraft flight evaluations. Experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). Experience as a Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer, Liaison Engineer, or Flight Test Analysis Engineer.Additional Insights
