Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, material, merchandise, or tools, and compiling stock records in a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
  • Stockroom Operations: Unpack and pack Mobility Readiness Spares Packages, performing inventory and stock replacement.
  • Quality Control: Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Storage and Retrieval: Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
  • Order Fulfillment: Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
  • Requisitioning: Requisition articles to fill bench stock items.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Compile reports on consumption of stocked items, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stocked items, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
  • Labeling and Identification: Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
  • Inventory Distribution: Distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
  • Tool Maintenance: Make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
  • Storage Optimization: Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
  • Cutting and Preparation: Cut stock to size to fill order.
  • Material Movement: Move or transport material or supplies to other departments.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Maintain inventory and other stock records.
  • Tool Kit Management: Accept recommended additions to bench stock from workers, provided history with recommendation to supervisor for consideration.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain shop tools are in working condition, reports damaged tools and requisitions replacements.
  • Tool Kit Assembly: Build up individual tool kits for various crafts using established tools list.
  • Tool Kit Sign-Out: Signs out tool kits for various crafts suing established tools list.
  • Tool Kit Record-Keeping: Signs out tools kits and maintains records in secure file.
  • Tool Inventory: Stocks most common hand tool items to replenish kits as approved by supervisors.
  • Operational Support: May be required to operate a forklift.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: One (1) to Three (3) years of related experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with USAF Supply functions preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Office software applications to communicate through e-mail and various software applications; especially Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to meet required deadlines and maintain necessary workflow
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and write and comprehend/interpret data.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Work Authorization: Must have authorization to work in host country.
