Position: Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal operational uptime of production facilities
- Proficient in overseeing process control systems (PCS7, TIA, MFCSWin) and cleanroom monitoring solutions (Jumo)
- Manage the lifecycle of automation and IT systems
- Lead and execute modernization projects to enhance and optimize existing infrastructure
- Collaborate across departments to ensure effective integration and coordination of automation technologies
- Assist in qualification processes and implement necessary corrective actions
- Independently commission systems
- Develop and oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring comprehensive documentation for automation systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in automation, ideally within the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors
- Familiarity with SIMATIC PCS7 / TIA
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Availability for on-call duties
- Proactive work ethic, adaptability, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-driven, enthusiastic learner, and precise in a collaborative environment
- Proficient in both German and English
