Job Description

As a MES Operations Key User at expertum GmbH, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our client, a leading provider of explosion-protected products and systems. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, our client is revolutionizing the industrial explosion protection industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects related to the preparation, implementation, and further development of the MES system.
  • System Optimization: Manage and optimize system components within the MES environment at production sites.
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support as a backup to key users from other sites and coordinate second-level support with the manufacturer.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external partners to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update core and process data, ensuring it remains up-to-date.
  • Documentation and Training: Create documentation and conduct training sessions for employees.
  • System Selection and Development: Select, manage, and further develop a digital shop floor management system.
  • Process Monitoring: Oversee system performance of operational processes and ensure their smooth operation.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Create evaluations and support departments in analyzing and preparing data.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed education with a further education to master craftsman or business administrator (m/f/d) or completed studies.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in the field of MES, shop floor management, system maintenance, or production control.
  • Language Skills: Good English skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-reliant and responsible work style, analytical thinking, and hands-on mentality.
  • IT Skills: High affinity for IT systems.
  • Desirable Skills: Very good user knowledge of SAP ERP/EWM.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel.
