About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Solution Architect to join our Strategy Projects Tech Team at ABOUT YOU.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cross-system architecture solutions that enable our commerce business to operate efficiently and smoothly across our full system landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop elegant, web-based architecture solutions utilizing AWS, Containers, Microservices, APIs, and Message Queuing.
  • Support development teams in finding solutions for complex challenges by advising on business needs and risks.
  • Ensure architectural consistency across teams by providing knowledge from other systems.
  • Accompany implementation of solutions to resolve upcoming blockers.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in informatics or a comparable course of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a proven track record in solution architecture.
  • Solid experience in the conception of complex (cloud) architectures, interfaces, and processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of data storage, processing, and management technologies to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
Soft Skills
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to grasp new topics fast and break down complex problems.
