Senior Technical Lead for Electrical and HVAC Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead for Electrical and HVAC Engineering to join our team at ESG Elektroniksystem-und Logistik-GmbH. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the Electrical and HVAC Engineering team and contributing to the success of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Electrical and HVAC Engineering team, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Approve design drafts and change requests, making informed design decisions to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and enhance methods, processes, and tools to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Coach and mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Select subcontractors, oversee technical aspects, and coordinate activities to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review and approve artifacts, participate in inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Plan team resources, contribute to long-term strategic development, and align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and IT Systems, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Provide technical advice for proposals and offer development, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Create detailed work package descriptions and specifications, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Support strategic business unit development with domain knowledge, providing valuable insights and expertise.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in electrical system planning and design, with a strong understanding of electrical installation and power supply.
  • Expertise in HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), including experience with environmental product qualification standards.
  • Proficient in tools like EPlan, Enterprise Architect, JIRA, etc.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering and process management, with previous experience in coaching and training sessions.
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams effectively, with fluency in German and English.
