About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at MAM Gruppe. As a key member of our agile IT environment, you will be responsible for leading the development and operation of cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and operation of cutting-edge products
  • Work in an agile, iterative, and incremental fashion, conducting proof of concepts (POCs) for new features and technologies to evaluate their benefits
  • Partner with various specialist departments and customers for interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Participate actively in all stages of DevOps, from design through to operation
  • Utilise advanced technologies, such as cloud-based microservices and artificial intelligence
Requirements
  • Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Have extensive experience in professional software development, preferably within the logistics sector
  • Proficient in Java and familiar with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript, Ionic, and JEE
  • Skilled in frontend development using TypeScript and Angular
  • Knowledgeable about databases and data communication technologies, including REST and socket
  • Experienced with modern CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experienced in cloud technologies, including Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Docker, and Kubernetes
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and strives to find optimal solutions for the team, product, and company
  • Fluent in both German and English- B2 level or above for both
