Position: Care Specialist / Social Educator

Part-time role with a commitment of 19.5 hours per week, involving shift work that excludes night shifts. This position serves as a temporary replacement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with residents in a group living setting, focusing on those with intellectual disabilities and unique support requirements.
  • Collaborate with residents to design and execute personalized support strategies.
  • Maintain documentation of care advancements, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and propose alternative solutions.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to residents in their daily routines.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team and promote professional dialogue.
Qualifications:
  • Completed training in special needs education, caregiving, social work, pedagogy, family counseling, or a related field.
  • Ability to assume responsibility and demonstrate reliability.
  • Appreciate diversity and exhibit openness.
  • Engage with residents in a respectful and compassionate manner.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, with early and late hours.
