Energy storage is essential for unlocking the full potential of renewable energy sources and improving the efficiency of conventional energy systems. To advance this mission, Fluence Services is in search of passionate and proactive product managers to spearhead initiatives addressing the critical service demands of the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate the development of service offerings, including conducting commercial and technical evaluations and obtaining executive endorsement.
  • Provide insights to enhance products, processes, and services to tackle internal and external business challenges.
  • Contribute to the formulation of innovative, scalable, and profitable services and products that meet customer requirements.
  • Drive the expansion of professional services in terms of volume, profitability, and customer engagement over time, implementing effective tracking mechanisms and metrics.
  • Play a pivotal role in defining the product strategy and roadmap, applying lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and employ persuasive communication to align messages with broader business objectives, offering guidance on complex issues.
  • Collaborate consistently with Sales, Services, and Product teams internally to ensure the viability and feasibility of offerings.
  • Work closely with product managers and specialists for comprehensive collaboration.
  • Define acceptance criteria and expected behaviors, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of progress and milestones through proactive communication.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in service product management, ideally within the energy sector.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a holistic perspective and capacity to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product development processes, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and a keen interest in renewable energy systems and energy markets.
  • Solid understanding of subscription-based services, software, and a high-level comprehension of machine learning and AI systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Characteristics: Coachable (dedicated to continuous improvement), Credible (thrives in a high-trust environment), Confident (takes ownership and initiative).
