About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Test Engineer to join our team at Alpha-Engineering KG. As an Integration Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of sophisticated integration tests from initial request to delivery of test data, ensuring the qualification and certification of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess test requests and refine them in collaboration with the design team.
  • Liaise with test experts from various departments, including Propulsion Testing, Energy Testing, and Flight Testing.
  • Identify instrumentation requirements based on aircraft, system, and sub-system specifications.
  • Design and develop custom test equipment for data acquisition, measurement, and failure injection, including creating procedures and documentation.
  • Develop complex test rigs and setups, coordinating with support teams (software, mechanical & electrical CAD, technicians & electricians) and managing key suppliers.
  • Perform test execution with automated test tools and measurement equipment for verification and validation activities.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and experience with multi-kW electrical machines and drives.
  • Experience in HV System Integration Lab is desirable.
  • Good understanding of network protocols like CAN, ARINC, RS422/485, UART, and ethernet.
  • Good understanding of mechatronics basics on sensors, actuators, and controller systems.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential; fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
