Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at the Mercure Hotel Berlin Zentrum. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's guest services, including check-in and check-out, reservations, and ticket sales.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front office team to ensure excellent guest service and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Oversee the processing of daily cash registers and preparation of daily accounts
- Prepare and manage guest invoices and statements
- Provide exceptional guest care and respond to guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Manage the acceptance and processing of reservations, including room assignments and guest preferences
- Prepare and present offers to guests, including room upgrades and special packages
- Train and develop the skills of junior team members to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Hotel management or front office experience, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
