System Architect

At Technology & Strategy, we're seeking a skilled System Architect to lead a custom project in Bochum. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing system requirements and architecture, analyzing customer needs, and collaborating with software and hardware architects to create system designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system requirements and architecture
  • Analyze internal and external customer requirements
  • Support the creation of specifications while ensuring quality
  • Collaborate with software and hardware architects to develop system architectures
  • Create system requirements, design, and architecture
  • Coordinate system testing internally and externally
  • Utilize processes and toolchains

Desired Profile:

  • Experience in system engineering
  • Experience in creating system specifications
  • Knowledge of system modeling using UML/SYSML
  • Experience with modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect
  • Experience in technical product development
  • Experience in the automotive and/or electronics industry
  • Experience in process implementation (e.g., V-Model, Automotive Spice, requirements management processes)
  • Experience in dealing with customers and external partners
  • Ability to develop and evaluate technical solutions
  • System understanding and methodical approach based on engineering principles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills
  • Solution-oriented thinking and action
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Knowledge of requirements management systems such as DOORS, Codebeamer
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management systems such as IBM Jazz, MS DevOps, or Jira
