This position will allow you to collaborate closely with each team member, providing you with invaluable insights across various financial disciplines. This experience will greatly enhance your growth as a comprehensive finance professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations: With your meticulous attention to detail and enthusiasm for numbers, you will assist in all daily financial operations. Whether it involves accounts payable or receivable, you will ensure a systematic and efficient accounting framework at LIQID. Engaging future projects await you, complementing your dynamic personality. You will be guided by an experienced team, with Jeroen, our Head of Finance, overseeing your work.
- Invoicing & Coordination: We are excited to support you as you embark on your journey into the expansive world of finance, facilitating your learning process. Your tasks will include invoicing, preparing bank transfers, and monitoring financial transactions, all while collaborating with your team to streamline our daily operations. Additionally, you will assist in liaising with our tax advisor and have the opportunity to create reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Projects: You will actively contribute your insights, evaluate new business models, and propose initiatives that aid in the progressive development of our department. There are numerous exciting projects currently available, including the implementation of a new forecasting/budgeting tool, transitioning to a new tax advisor, and optimizing our accounting software.
- Educational Background: You are a currently enrolled student, having completed at least the first two years of your Bachelor's program, preferably in a business-related field with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling.
- Skills and Qualifications: Your passion for financial matters is unwavering, and prior experience through internships in finance, banking, or consulting is a plus. You are proficient in creating impactful presentations and adept at using pivot tables. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory. You excel at simplifying complex financial concepts for colleagues outside of finance.
