Your Role
EGI aims to strengthen its team dedicated to Power System Operations and Security, particularly in the context of the extensive integration of renewable energy sources and Energy and Balancing Market Integration. We are seeking seasoned professionals with a deep understanding of transmission system operations and a strong affinity for power electronics. These professionals will engage in both local and international projects centered on the integration of renewable energy sources, supply security, sustainability, and the economic efficiency of power systems.
Your Responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities will be determined based on your skills and expertise, and will be discussed during your interviews with management.
Your Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in electrical, electromechanical, or power electronics);
- Over 5 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security, focusing on the development and management of electricity networks and power plants;
- Extensive knowledge of power system simulation tools (PSS/e, PowerFactory, PSCAD, Python, VBA, etc.);
- Experience with wind turbines, PV plants, HVDC systems, or power electronics manufacturers, particularly in projects related to renewable integration or HVDC interactions is highly advantageous;
- Fluency in English is required;
- Proficiency in German, Dutch, and/or French is considered a strong asset;
