About the Role
ADECCO is seeking a highly skilled Precision Machinist - Surface Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our surface technology team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of surface finishing machines, including CNC and conventional grinders.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain surface finishing machines, including CNC and conventional grinders, to achieve high precision and quality standards.
- Program and set up machines to meet specific production requirements, using Siemens and Mitsubishi control systems.
- Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in precision machining or surface technology.
- Proven experience in surface finishing, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC and conventional grinding processes, including programming and setup.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
