(Senior) Consultant - Cyber Security in Financial Services

Your Responsibilities

  • Advise our clients on the definition and implementation of cyber security and information risk management systems to prepare for threats and disruptive changes.
  • Understand the IT and compliance requirements for financial services firms and provide guidance on their innovative, technology-driven implementation through effective, forward-looking processes, automation, and the use of IT tools.
  • Maintain composure in the face of unexpected events (such as disasters) by developing appropriate business continuity and IT service continuity strategies and processes, and executing them diligently.
  • Facilitate collaboration between financial institutions and their service providers, whether hyperscalers or other IT service providers, by designing sourcing strategies, managing governance processes, and implementing comprehensive risk management.
  • Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, tackle complex challenges, and take on early responsibilities in an international environment with prominent players in the German financial services market.
  • Develop tailored, tool-based solutions with our clients that comply with legal requirements.
Your Profile
  • Possess foundational knowledge in at least two of the following areas: xAIT, Digital Operational Resilience Act, ISO 27001 and information security management, business continuity management, IT service continuity management, and third-party risk management.
  • Demonstrate results-oriented work ethic with high motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Think outside the box and pursue innovative ideas.
  • Bring initial expertise and a desire to deepen this knowledge through certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, ISO 27001).
  • Have project management skills and a strong understanding of processes and their interconnections.
  • Ideally, possess theoretical or practical knowledge of common cyber security, governance, risk, and compliance tools (e.g., ServiceNow, RSA Archer, Jira).
  • Have an interest in the application of AI and its potential for improvement.
