About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in the field of electronic interlocking systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex electronic interlocking systems across Germany. Your primary location will be in the regions of Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission complex electronic interlocking systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Integrate system extensions and perform modifications to existing systems.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers and customers.
- Verify system functionality and set up system parameters according to specifications.
- Perform functional tests on equipment and systems, diagnose faults, and rectify issues.
- Prepare and update reports and protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex electronic systems.
- Familiarity with DIN VDE standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of railway technology and project management is an asset.
- Ability to travel extensively across Germany (approximately 80% of the time), willingness to participate in on-call duties, and possession of a valid driver's license (Class B).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
