Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications using the Spring framework, focusing on business process analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Technical Requirements:

  • Develop EDI interfaces and Rest-APIs with the Lobster_Data solution, analyzing logistics processes to facilitate communication between heterogeneous systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.

Development Focus:

  • Work on both server-side logic and user interface components to deliver robust and responsive applications.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems for optimal performance.

Legacy System Maintenance:

  • Maintain and enhance existing legacy solutions by analyzing legacy business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of legacy systems.

Application Improvement and Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
  • Implement best practices for code quality and conduct code reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of major experience as a full-time Java developer.
  • Experience participating in at least 5 projects as a developer role.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSP, HTML5, and RDBMS (Oracle/PostgresQL), as well as framework usage like Spring, Spring Boot, VueJS, Sencha Touch.
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks and maintenance of CI/CD Apps (Gitlab/Jenkins).
  • Experience as a DevOps with Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
  • WAS knowledge and configuration experience are a plus.
  • Web Server (Nginx/Apache) knowledge and configuration experience are a plus.
  • Experience/knowledge regarding logistics business is a plus.
  • Required interest in new technology and open-source environments.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and challenging environment.
  • Business-level English (Korean language plus).
