Job Title: Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, payment processing, and asset management.
  • Assist in the monthly financial closing process and preparation for internal financial reporting.
  • Conduct reconciliation, analysis, and assessment of balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including compliance with statutory year-end requirements.
  • Prepare legally mandated reports, such as VAT returns and various regulatory submissions.
  • Provide assistance in payroll accounting, subject to review by external tax authorities.
  • Facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Engage in cross-departmental financial optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, ideally within an international organization.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Essential Skills:

  • Timeliness in financial reporting and closures.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
