Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Engineer - Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing Specialist to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. As a key member of our innovative team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide clean energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and qualify mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems to ensure high-quality inspection results.
  • Prepare technical justifications and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze data and document test results in the test laboratory and onsite to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Prepare and implement training courses for onsite personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform inspections effectively.
  • Support the development of technical quotations to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Support ongoing projects and products to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Cross-departmental and cross-country collaboration to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • German language proficiency (speaking and writing) at a C2 level.
  • English language proficiency (speaking and writing) at a B2 level.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany/Europe.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in mechanized ultrasonic inspections on pipe or nozzle welds, UT Level 2 certification, and French language proficiency.
