As a Financial Controller, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of our business operations in Germany and Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and year-end statutory financial accounts according to HGB and IFRS.
  • Prepare income/revenue reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Manage the EMEA and Outsourced Shared Services team for month-end processes.
  • Support month-end reporting/closing processes.
  • Manage local tax filing requirements and tax returns for DE, AT, and PL locations.
  • Drive process improvements to fulfill business objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and robust compliance and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for audit and compliance requirements.
  • Review salary before payment.
  • Actively engage in cost reduction analyses.
  • Administer bank signatories and trade limits according to Group policies.
  • Provide various analyses and ad-hoc reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Finance (desirable but not necessary).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting/Auditing, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles.
  • Strong experience in understanding and interpreting control and operational risk.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Good understanding of finance and ERP systems.
  • Prior experience in ERP Oracle is an added advantage.
  • Legal Entity consolidation knowledge is helpful.
  • Proficient in German and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a multi-cultural environment is desirable.
