Automation Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and enhancement of new machinery.
  • Develop and uphold communication standards with external devices.
  • Configure and initiate machines for production trials, ensuring compliance with stringent specifications.
  • Deliver expert remote support to customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Design, monitor, and create PLC code from the ground up as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a focus on automation.
  • Proficient in PLC programming, including troubleshooting and code development.
  • Strong understanding of networking and PLC systems, particularly Siemens, with knowledge of Allen Bradley being advantageous.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • A collaborative team member with exceptional communication skills, capable of completing projects effectively.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or German is a plus, and willingness to travel is required.

Work Environment:

  • Convenient access to major transport routes for travel.
  • This position involves mobility and travel to client locations across Europe as necessary.
  • Remote work options are available when not on-site.
