Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Master's student (m/f/d) to join our team as a working student (10 to 20 hours per week). As a working student, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the following industry/research projects:

  • Alicia - Circular Manufacturing Ecosystem (CME) for production equipment
  • ReDiMon – Realistic digital models for assembly systems
  • MaWis-KI: Predicting the lifespan of solder joints using material science-guided Artificial Intelligence
  • Quality inspection and root cause analysis on design surfaces using ML (Machine Learning) and Smart Data
  • AI Production Assistant with a self-learning knowledge base

As a Master's student, you will have the opportunity to generate your Master's thesis with us. You will work closely with our experienced engineers from the areas of development, production, software development, and physical measurement technology.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, e.g., Engineering or Industrial Engineering studies (Uni/TH/FH) such as Digital Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Systems Engineering as an example of dual studies or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Vehicle or Electrical Engineering, Physics
  • Concentrated, careful, and reliable work style coupled with a high level of teamwork and flexibility
  • Very good German and good English skills in speech and writing
  • Interest in learning methods such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, HoQ, etc.
  • Interest in further education in Robust Design and Lean Six Sigma/Design for Six Sigma
  • Initial experience in project management, as well as with development and/or assembly/production processes, desirable
  • Basic knowledge or interest in learning software development under C#,.NET and WPF, as well as statistics/analysis software such as Visual XSel, Minitab, or Python
