Job Title: Vice President Corporate Legal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Corporate Legal to join our team at HARTMANN. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our corporate legal department and providing strategic guidance on all legal matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the corporate legal department and its organization to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Partner with senior leadership and internal customers to support HARTMANN's success while ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and lead the company's corporate and business legal strategy to promote and protect HARTMANN's interests.
  • Oversee the day-to-day legal function, including corporate projects, contract drafting and negotiation, and litigation management.
  • Provide prompt legal advice to stakeholders and innovators to facilitate and strengthen their decision-making.
  • Represent HARTMANN in business and trade organizations and interface with external law firms and authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Strong legal experience (at least 10 years) with a combination of international commercial law firm and senior in-house roles.
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector and excellent networking skills in the healthcare and legal community.
  • Education: Completion of first and second state examinations with a focus on corporate, commercial, and labor law or capital markets.
  • Language skills: Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken), with other foreign languages an advantage.

  • A self-motivated and driven individual with a strong business acumen and customer focus.
  • Demonstrated competency in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and change management.
  • Providing direction for others, building and inspiring teams, leading and managing change.
  • A commercial mindset and a demonstrated history of serving as a trusted and strategic business advisor to executive management and business leaders.
