Position: Nursing Specialist
As a Nursing Specialist, your role will involve the planning, organization, and execution of appropriate care for elderly individuals. You will learn to perceive and articulate the needs of individuals from various perspectives, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of their care requirements. The nursing field is distinct from other professions, particularly due to the long-term relationships you will cultivate with the elderly. This vocation offers profound insights into human nature and personal development. In essence, nursing is a rewarding career that fosters both professional and personal growth.
The training program spans three years and follows a dual education model. You will gain theoretical insights at a nursing school while simultaneously acquiring hands-on experience in our facilities or through internships in sectors such as Home Care Services or hospitals. Throughout this journey, you will work closely with our experienced practice supervisors.
Training Focus Areas:
- Foundational knowledge in medical, psychological, social, and legal aspects
- Support with personal hygiene, dressing, and nutrition
- Advising and guiding on health-promoting practices
- Care procedures including wound management
- Effective communication with families and residents
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education or at least one year of training in nursing assistance
- Proficiency in the German language at a minimum of B2 level
- Health suitability for a career in nursing
- Ability to work collaboratively, along with a strong sense of responsibility
- High levels of empathy and a passion for working with the elderly
