Logistics Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Logistics Purchasing Manager

JD Logistics is expanding its operations in the EU and seeking an experienced Logistics Purchasing Manager to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement plans for intercontinental logistics capacity and project-based resource procurement. They will work closely with 2C last-mile service providers and local intercontinental trucking fleets to secure competitive resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Capacity Procurement and Resource Planning: Develop procurement plans for intercontinental logistics capacity and project-based resource procurement.
  2. Warehousing Resource Development: Develop and procure quality local warehousing resources based on business requirements.
  3. Supplier Pool Optimization: Continuously optimize the supplier pool for intercontinental logistics capacity.
  4. New Supplier Introduction and Risk Control: Introduce quality logistics resources to enhance the intercontinental logistics capacity pool.
  5. Service Provider Analysis and Assessment: Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of 2C last-mile service providers and trucking service providers.
  6. Procurement Management: Develop procurement management policies, workflows, and performance standards according to company requirements.
  7. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to drive capacity implementation.
  8. Market Trends and Innovation: Stay informed about logistics market trends and adjust internal resource strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in international logistics and warehousing.
  2. Team Leadership: Proven experience managing a capacity procurement team.
  3. Supplier Management: Strong experience in supplier procurement, management, and evaluation.
  4. Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin as working languages.
  5. Project Management: Successful project management experience.
  6. Personal Qualities: Honest, pragmatic, able to handle pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and a quick learning ability.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficient in office software and basic data analysis tools.
