Intellectual Property Manager (m/w/d)

As a member of the Patents & Licensing Team, you will engage in an exciting and responsible role within a globally operating functional area. We seek committed individuals like you to legally support our innovative products and solutions from conception to market launch. Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and assessing inventions in collaboration with our interfaces, particularly with our Research & Development teams.
  • Monitoring and researching competitor patents, evaluating them as part of the product development process.
  • Drafting patent applications.
  • Participating in opposition proceedings against disruptive third-party rights, infringement cases, and patent-related assessments.
  • Preparing patent information and creating 'Patent Landscapes' to support our development and marketing departments using our modern IT platforms.
Qualifications:
  • You hold a degree in a scientific or technical field (Bachelor's/Master's or possibly a PhD).
  • You demonstrate a strong interest and enjoyment in dealing with both legal and technical issues.
  • Ideally, you have gained initial experience in the field of intellectual property law.
  • Strong written communication skills, good interpersonal abilities, as well as analytical and abstract thinking skills complete your profile for this role.
  • Due to the local and international nature of the role, you possess excellent English and German language skills.
