UX Design Intern

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Product Design team in creating user-focused digital solutions.
- Collaborate with UX Designers and Researchers to conduct user studies.
- Plan, execute, and interpret user research activities alongside the UX Research team, including surveys, interviews, and usability assessments.
- Gather and analyze user needs to provide UX insights and recommendations.
- Deliver actionable research findings to design, development, and product teams to inform decision-making.
- Participate in project implementation within the Scrum framework, working closely with Designers, Developers, Product Owners, and Managers.
- Support Designers and Front-end Developers in their daily activities.
- Create sketches, wireframes, and visual mock-ups for software applications.
- Develop user interface specifications, establish design patterns, and assess their feasibility.
- Ensure the development of user-centered products.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program focused on User Experience Design, User Interface Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, User Research, or a related field.
- The internship must be a mandatory component of your academic program and last a minimum of 5-6 months.
- Familiarity with standard UX research methods and metrics, such as usability testing and user interviews.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.
- Interest and foundational experience in UI/UX Design, UX Research, Digital Product Design, and Prototyping.
- Understanding of Atomic Design principles and the ability to define and apply UI standards while developing UX concepts across various platforms.
- Knowledge of or experience with the Jobs to Be Done framework is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages, such as German, are advantageous.
- Demonstrated structured and analytical thinking, along with a commitment to learning and teamwork.
- Enthusiasm for personal growth, contributing to team efforts, and sharing insights with colleagues.
