About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team at Planet2050. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's narrative and amplifying our voice in the climate tech space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote our climate-focused projects and position our brand as a leader in sustainability and carbon markets.
  • Create engaging content (blog posts, social media posts, articles) that highlights our work and the impact of our projects on the environment.
  • Collaborate with project developers to craft compelling narratives and develop marketing materials that showcase our brand's expertise and commitment to sustainability.
  • Support the design and execution of innovative marketing campaigns that leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive engagement.
  • Enhance our digital presence by creating and curating content, managing our website, and optimizing our online experience for SEO.
  • Maintain proactive communication with partners and agencies to orchestrate collaborative marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for the company to participate in leading conferences, events, and exposure opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Native German speaker with excellent oral and written skills in English.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and CMS tools (Wordpress, Statamic).
  • Results-oriented, conceptual, and analytical thinking.
  • Agility and self-organisation.
